Get Korean/Hangul writer on your computer

Ever since I get obsessed with those Kpop and Korean stuff, I tend to learn Hangul for personal interest. Putting my smart phone aside, I had a hard time finding any way to write Hangul in my laptop. I thought that there might be a software to be installed so that I can write. But, at last, I knew through a friend, that Hangul writer is originally enable in the computer itself. LOL. And now I'm able to type Hangul already~~

But my way of writing Hangul is a bit harsh. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It's very EASY. Trust me~~

1. Right-Click the Language icon at the bottom right of the screen.
   
   
   
2. Click 'Settings...'
   
   
   
3. It will then pop out a window "Text Services and Input Languages". Click 'Add'.
   
   
   
4. It will pop out another window "Add Input Language". Find Korean and make selection as shown. Then click 'OK'.
   
   
   
5. Then click another 'OK' at the previous window and it's DONE!!!

See~~ EASY right???

However, there's another problem~~ 

HOW WE KNOW THE REPRESENTATION OF EACH ALPHABETS OF HANGUL?!?!

That's why I said that my way is harsh. I checked the letter one by one and use some stickers to stick on my keyboard. haha. A very unprofessional way, but the cheapest and DIY-enabled method. Try it if you have patience~~ =D

iPhone 4 vs HTC Desire personal comment

Nowadays, it's too common that every human has AT LEAST one smart phone in their pocket. I could simply see a 50-years-old ajumoni (aunty in korean) playing angry birds with iphone 3GS in the bus. @.@ Well, what I want to say is that, I think that technology has come to a point where mobile phone has been integrated into an advanced tool that not serve only the function of sms and dialing. 

mp3 player + laptop + PSP + radio + (etc...) =  smart phone 

and I have also integrate my mobile phone from Sony Ericsson w850i to HTC Desire. 

Not a bad phone, I can comment, although it still has something I'm not very satisfy. But overall speaking, it's nice and it's more than enough to let me enjoy it~~

My sister is the one who bought me this HTC. Why is she so kind to buy me such expensive phone? (It costs RM 2199) Well~~ Long story~~~ -.-||| with terms and conditions applied... HAHAHAHA.... And she's using iPhone 4, which was my first choice, but I changed my mind at the very last moment. Reason? 

iPhone is way too common!!! I can see iPhone whenever I opened my eyes!!!! LOL!!!

Okay~ So now I have something to say about these two phone: iPhone 4 and HTC Desire. For those who want to purchase either one of these phones, PLEASE think carefully~~

Appearance

In term of appearance, I think iPhone 4 takes the advantage, at least in my point of view. It's very class and it is scratch-resistant for both side, although my sister put a casing for it. It still looks good. HTC Desire might looks like iPhone 3G. So I think iPhone 4 win~~

Price

This is one of the reason why I choose HTC Desire. Refer to the website I posted below the images, iPhone 4 is much much more expensive than HTC Desire. (RM 3030 for iPhone 4 and RM 1870 for HTC Desire) Seems like the price of HTC Desire drops since the last time I visit the website, but it's reasonable as HTC Desire is launched in Malaysia on May 2010. HTC Desire wins~~

Internal Memory

This is what consumer seldom mention. Let's put iPhone 4 aside as we can choose either 16GB or 32GB for the internal memory, it will not be the problem. Although HTC Desire states that it has 512MB of internal memory, but when I got the phone, it has only about 50~60MB left. WHERE'S THE OTHER 300++MB????? My friend has just answered me. The 300++ MB has been used for the OS. I've asked the agent of the HTC and I got a disappointed reply "It's like this, we can't change it". Besides, although Android 2.2 (Froyo) allows us to transfer some application to SD card (8GB), but some applications don't allow us to do so. So, the internal memory is still a problem. iPhone 4 wins~~

This might be one of the big reason for you to change your mind if you want to buy HTC Desire, because this is a big issue. A smart phone which doesn't allow you to install many apps is NOT A SMART PHONE!!!

Market/iTunes

As you all know, Android Market is like iTunes for apple. We download applications from there. Although iTunes has some interesting and unique applications that Android doesn't have, but Android Market has 70% of the applications are free!!! For example, Whatsapp is one of the application I used. It's free for Android user, but iPhone users need to PURCHASE it from iTunes. So, HTC Desire wins~~

WiFi Problem

iPhone 4 has completely no problem with it's WiFi. It's perfect. But for Android phones, like HTC Desire, they don't have much problems too, except one. Seems like Android's phones' WiFi are not compatible with some router such as D-link. The reason is still unknown. I've searched many website and asked many people. Seems like the similarity is D-link router. I don't know the reason, too. iPhone 4 wins~~

Camera

Well, both don't have any problems at all~~ I shall call it a DRAW~~ LOL Both 5 megapixels. It's more than enough~~

Resolution

It's actually not a very big problem for me. iPhone 4 has a much better and bigger resolution than HTC Desire. But really, the resolution HTC Desire has is enough for me. I have no much greed for it. LOL.... However, iPhone 4 wins~~

Casing

It's so unfair that iPhone 4 has so much casing type to be sold everywhere but HTC Desire has only one type!!! haha.... Choose iPhone 4 if you are someone who focus on appearance... LOL HTC Desire does not have much choices. =X

Well... that's all I can say about these two phone. Honestly, I'm kinda regret that I didn't choose iPhone 4. But owning HTC Desire doesn't make me sad too. It's considered perfect for me. And if your budget is limited, HTC Desire is more than enough for you. It has an interface iPhone 4 doesn't have. If your budget is not enough to buy HTC Desire, but you still want a smart phone? Choose HTC Wildfire then.. LOL

Anyway, HTC Desire receive the award 'Phone of the year'. So I think I have no regret for buying though... XD
